Francis Howell High School Band Program

The Francis Howell High School Band is a highly successful program. This success is based on education and experience of its members. Every member must put forth: hard work, determination, and perseverance to achieve their greatest potential.

The year round training received by the members creates a nucleus of strong performers that lifts the level of the entire program. It is highly recommended that the members take part in as many aspects of the program as possible. Francis Howell Bands currently includes the following ensembles: Marching Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Winter Guard, and Winter Percussion.

WOW! What a great winter season! The "A" Guard just got third place in their division, the "B" Guard just placed second in their round at championships and the drumline placed fifth. I am very proud of all the groups and I am looking forward to what the drumline will do in Dayton.

We also need to congratulate all of our solo and ensemble students for their hard work. We had more ONE ratings this year than ever before. Students receiving a ONE will go to state to perform at Mizzou on April 28. Congrats!

Also, don't forget large ensemble festival is at Wentzville Holt High School on April 18. All parents who agreed to chaperone, please don't forget to check your email. I will contact you with all of the details.
