Francis Howell High School Band Program

The Francis Howell High School Band is a highly successful program. This success is based on education and experience of its members. Every member must put forth: hard work, determination, and perseverance to achieve their greatest potential.

The year round training received by the members creates a nucleus of strong performers that lifts the level of the entire program. It is highly recommended that the members take part in as many aspects of the program as possible. Francis Howell Bands currently includes the following ensembles: Marching Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Winter Guard, and Winter Percussion.

Mr. Miller's Message

Merry Christmas! The winter season is in full swing, the drumline and the winter guards are working hard. We finally have the fall marching band pictures scheduled, they will be on January 5th, right after school. We will dress in full uniform for the full band shots, and the individuals. Packets will be available soon.

Kevin Rudolph and Ashley Cox both auditioned at State on Dec. 3rd and both made callbacks. That is a huge honor and a great success. Way to go, guys!

The craft fair was a huge success, thanks to all the parents and students that worked to make it so great!

Don't forget, Band concert Thursday, Dec 8th and Jazz concert Tuesday, Dec. 13th. See you there!
