Car Wash Fund-Raiser for St. James Red Regiment Band
The Francis Howell High School Marching Band held a car wash fund-raiser on August 14, 2010 to benefit the St. James Red Regiment Band***. The FHHS Band collected $1,467.68 in donations for the St. James Band.
***On August 5, 2010 the St. James Red Regiment Band was involved in a tragic school bus accident in which one of the band members and the driver of a pickup truck lost thier lives.
The Francis Howell High School Band
The Francis Howell High School Band is a highly successful program. This success is based on education and experience of its members. Every member must put forth: hard work, determination, and perseverance to achieve their greatest potential.
The year round training received by the members creates a nucleus of strong performers that lifts the level of the entire program. It is highly recommended that the members take part in as many aspects of the program as possible. Francis Howell Bands currently includes the following ensembles: Marching Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Winter Guard, and Winter Percussion.

The band was very excited to see such a large number of people out to support us and see what we are up to. This week's practice schedule is online, and please make sure that your student has a lunch for Wednesday, since they won't be going home to eat before practice. Francis Howell InvitationalOn October 10th 2009, after one of the wettest weeks on record, many bands were marching in the mud at other invitationals. The bands marching at the Francis Howell invitational were "high and dry" on Francis Howell's all weather artificial turf.
